Love is a mist that transforms everything from crimson to white, sending you into a nighttime state of unconsciousness like the full moon. Wishing wells are useless; all they say is “may” or “might,” but who am I? Just for you guys, I’m here to liveblog this pro wrestling event.
A video of Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman arriving at the arena early today is shown to start the show.
One more time, Heyman has orders for them. Jimmy learned from the Tribal Chief on Friday that he must resolve the Sami Zayn issue, but Sami fled, so he will be present in person tonight in Boston. Solo is charged with finding a solution to the Kevin Owens issue, and Jimmy—regardless of whether Jey changes his mind or not—will find a lasting solution to the Sami Zayn issue.
As soon as they are gone, Paul pulls out his phone and makes a call to Roman Reigns.
Kevin Owens vs. Solo Sikoa
Before the bell, Owens assaults Sikoa, and the two fight on the ground! He throws Solo into the barricade and continues to deliver punches until he is thrown into a post face-first! Sikoa is now in charge, knocking KO off the position!
We hear a bell in the arena, followed by mounted punches from Owens after a takedown! Kev is choked by Solo’s big lariat, and Shinjiro Ohtani’s rotating wheel kick finishes him off! Sikoa delivers a high but lawful knee to the inner thigh after exchanging punches and landing a knee to the head. Owens is trying to get back into the fight.
Jimmy Uso arrives at ringside to provide intervention as the match moves to the floor after being knocked out with a lariat. Sikoa takes advantage, Ode to Rikishi is eaten against the barrier as we approach the break, and Owens rolls to the floor for a breather before eating another Ode to Rikishi!
Back from the commercial, Sikoa receives a Samoan drop for two! Sidestepping a charge, Solo headbutts the post, and Owens plants him with a DDT! Both fighters are out cold, with KO going down first, shoving Sikoa away with his elbows, dodging another charge, and slamming into the post!
A brace of superkicks and Uso being thrown off the apron helped set up the cannonball senton after the stunner was denied. Sendon Atomico, KO in the highest… JIMMY ENDS IT AND BREAKS IT UP!
Kevin Owens wins by disqualification, presumably.
After the match, Jimmy beats Owens down while he’s on the announce booth, while Solo is perched on the barricade. SAMI ZAYN ALSO FINDS AWAY! He posts Solo and hits Uso with mounted strikes! Zayn grabs a chair while smashing his forehead into the barricade, but the Bloodline men escape!
We move to commercial as Sami enters the ring and extends a handshake to Kevin Owens who is standing in the corner. However, Owens declines and sneaks out to the floor.
After the commercial, a summary of the Wyatt/Lashley company is given.
Backstage, Bobby Lashley makes a commercial.
He claims to be sick of playing kid’s games and wants to face Bray head-on, but because he isn’t a man, he sent a man in disguise to do his dirty work. What will it take for Wyatt to confront him like a man, he asks.
Backstage questions are asked of Carmella.
She claims that Adam Pearce gave his champion this fight in order to get her out of his hair. However, she plans to humiliate him.
When Chelsea Green appears and proposes they speak to Pearce’s manager behind his back, Carmella likes the idea but wants Chelsea to stand by her tonight.
As Bianca Belair arrives, we take pause.
Bianca Belair vs. Carmella
Early exchanges between the two women saw Carmella hit Belair with a low bridge and push her away when she attempted to drag her to the ground. Once they were inside, a neck breaker and jawbreaker were then connected. Bianca backflips up and over in the corner to set up a dropkick and kip-up. She is revved up!
Attacking, wristlock, standing switch, O’Connor roll, Mella kicking out and tripping her up with her hair, and then we go to break.
After the break, Carmella has the upper hand with a reverse chin lock. Belair struggles but is once more knocked down by the Princess of Staten Island’s braid! Bianca catches her after she dives crossbody, rolls through to stop the trip this time, blocks the satellite head scissors, and Belair hits a backbreaker!
Moon sault handspring, Chelsea Green crosses the line, but it doesn’t register! Carmella attempts a superkick after Bianca drags Chelsea into the arena, but NOPE! Belair knocks her to the ground and mounts some punches before Green enters the arena once more. The EST then pursues Green and throws her into the timekeeper’s area after passing her to the ground.
Schoolboy Mella draws her in while she has her feet on the ropes. AIN’T ENOUGH! Backbreaker rack…
Bianca Belair wins by pinfall with KOD.
After the game, Chelsea and Carmella assault Bianca and kick her! ASUKA SPLITS THE MIST IN GREEN’S FACE AND RUNS DOWN!
Bianca and Asuka exchange respectful looks.
Sami Zayn attempts to persuade Kevin Owens to join forces against the Bloodline backstage. He acknowledges that it’s challenging and that they don’t have to be best buddies, ride together, or even work as a team, but they both share the same goal, and working together is the only way to achieve it.
He claims to have been a member of the Bloodline, and Kev responds that he is aware of this and tells him why the Bloodline was chosen over him. Even though Owens has been fighting them alone for eight months and is aware of how difficult it is, Sami keeps forgetting that he doesn’t want to battle alongside him.
Sami’s actions don’t matter to Roman; all he wants is to be excluded. Perhaps he was in error. Go back and apologize while stroking his vanity. Sami Zayn, discouraged, departs, and we take a pause.
After the break, a hype video for Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley is shown.
The Miz enters the arena and takes the microphone.
As part of his preparation for hosting WrestleMania, he is aware that everyone is wondering why he would walk into the ring with Seth Rollins after what he did last week.
Logan Seth Rollins arrives soon after Paul enters the room.
Rollins stops Miz from trying to stop the crowd from singing Seth’s theme, and finally, Logan mentions that they are on schedule and need to start the segment, but that doesn’t work either.
Rollins finally faces his audience and explains that he and Paul have never had a formal introduction. As a result, he goes through Logan’s entire rigmarole. Paul asserts that he is the clown that he threw out at the Royal Rumble and stepped on in the Elimination Chamber.
Apart from the fact that he is simply better at Seth’s work than he is, he is unsure of the issue, and if he were Rollins, he would not like him either. Seth counters that no one loves Logan because he is the scum of the earth, a coward, a troll, a fraud, and a human dumpster fire, while Miz butts in and says Logan makes some valid points.
However, Boston didn’t come here tonight to listen to speeches; rather, they came to watch Seth get his just desserts, and now it’s time to battle! Miz attempts to intervene, but Paul tells him that while it’s what he does, he’ll fight if he wants to, he won’t actually do it because he doesn’t fight for free.
On a bigger platform, though, with more resources and star power, he might think about it. As the WrestleMania host, Miz claims he has the power to make Logan Paul vs. Seth Rollins materialize. Seth says they can complete the task right away and kicks Miz out of the arena. Blackout blocks Paul’s assault, he struggles in the corner, and the A-Lister saves the day!
Logan Paul knocks out Rollins with a right hand after he knocks out Miz with a superkick. When he awakens up, Paul instructs him to inform him about WrestleMania.
